The Douglas County Fair, since 1888, is a program of the Douglas County Agricultural Association. This year’s schedule is packed full of events, entertainment and food! So come out with your friends and family and make memories at the fair. During the fair, the fair office number is 320-762-8235. Open Class entry day is Tuesday, August 14, 2012

NEW AT THE FAIR THIS YEAR!

  • All new entertainment at the 4-H stage.
  • Several new food vendors in Calorie Lane.
  • New activities include: kids coloring contest, apron contest, quilting contest, kids construction contest, and a senior’s spelling bee.
  • The Kids’ Coloring Contest entry can be found in the Fair Premium Book.
  • MUTTON BUSTIN’ Children’s Rodeo, Saturday from 2–4:00pm in the Erickson Building

Parking!

West gate, free parking for the general public.

North gate (stoplight entrance) is not a public entrance unless you are bicycling.

East gate parking is for bicycles, motorcycles, and handicapped permit parking only.

The first 40 bicyclists entering each day will receive a coupon, which may be redeemed at the fair grounds office, for a free bicycle lock. These coupons are available to ticketed adults as well as to children. Limit one per person during the fair.
